Pilates Classes
Pilates classes focus on lengthening and aligning the your body, building strength, flexibility and lean muscle tone. Pilates also trains your core, which includes the diaphragm, transverse abdominus, pelvic floor, and multifidus muscles located between the shoulders and pelvis.
SOpilates classes are floor-based on a mat. Matwork is really accessible, you only need an exercise mat and space enough to stretch out. Matwork challenges you at your ability level, is super accessible, but not an easy way out!
Classes are based in several locations in and around Frome, Somerset or if you prefer you can join Sophy’s online classes.

Are you a new client?
If you are a new SOpilates client you will need an introductory session with me.
An introductory session helps me get to know you and think about which classes would most benefit you. An Introductory session is held in my studio and is 1hr 15mins,
In your introductory session we will go through your responses in your enrolment form. I will then assess your posture and any issues or injuries. Finally we will confirm what you want to get out of Pilates, whether improving your fitness levels, recovery from injury, or training for a race.
What to wear & bring
Comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily
An exercise/yoga mat
A towel or pillow for your head
A band or scarf for stretching
Some water
